You don’t have to do it alone.

September 2026 Edition

If you're a solopreneur or small business owner, chances are you're used to doing a lot of things yourself.

You started with an idea, figured things out as you went, wore all the hats, and somehow kept moving forward-even when you weren't quite sure what you were doing.

But somewhere along the way, "I can do it myself" can quietly become "I have to do it myself."

And those are two very different things.

There is strength in being capable, but there is also wisdom in recognizing when it's time to let someone come alongside you.

Sometimes the next step isn't working harder. Sometimes it's making room.

*Right-Hand Tip

Take a look at your to-do list this week and ask yourself: "Does this task require me, or does it simply need to get done?"

If it doesn't require your unique skills, expertise, or voice, it might be something you can delegate. Start with just one thing. One email. One recurring task. One project you've been putting off.

Small amounts of breathing room can make a surprisingly big difference.

*Take It Off Your Desk

Administrative Tasks.

Scheduling appointments, organizing your inbox, managing documents, updating spreadsheets, coordinating projects-the little things have a way of multiplying.

And while each one may seem small, together they can take hours away from the work only you can do. That's where having the right support can make all the difference.

*Worth a Look

The "One-Touch" Rule

When an email, document, or task comes across your desk, try to deal with it as soon as you can: Do it. Delegate it. Delete it. Schedule it.

The goal isn't perfection. It's preventing small tasks from becoming a mountain of unfinished business.

*A Little Encouragement

Building something meaningful takes faith.

There will be seasons when you know exactly where you're headed-and seasons when you can only see the next step.

You don't have to know how everything will work out. You just have to be willing to take the next right step. And sometimes, that next step is recognizing that you weren't meant to carry everything by yourself.

"Two are better than one..." Ecclesiastes 4:9

Your business matters. Your goals matter. And so do you.

*From My Desk to Yours

You don't have to do everything yourself to prove that you can. Give yourself permission to ask for help, make room for what matters most, and surround yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed.

Here's to a little less overwhelm, a little more breathing room, and having the right support when you need it the most.

From my desk to yours,

Tricia D. Larm The Right Hand Desk
